BIO
(L-R): My Ah Kong, Fifth Aunty, Me, My Papa and an Uncle (perched). Taken at the Taiping Lake Gardens. I couldn't have been more than one, or perhaps just a little older, so the photo must have been taken between 1973-1974. Photo courtesy of the Lim Family.

How I Got Here
I hold a Bachelor in Social Science from Unversiti Kebangsaan Malaysia majoring in Communications and a Masters in Corporate Communications from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
I began my career as a cadet journalist and gradually assumed public relations, communications and marketing roles.
I have been with the PR scene since 1998, having served as a public relations executive with TNB Research and later as a Communications Manager with Sires Labs, a start-up company in Cyberjaya.

In 2005, I joined Nilai International University College as a Corporate Communications Manager. In 2013, I was made Head of the Marketing, Business Development and Communications Department of what is now Nilai University. I left the University in October 2014 to pursue a career in writing.

My writing style is best described as distinctively personal, focussing immensely on drawing out the innate personality that personifies the unique and colourful qualities in people. I am intensely invested in the interviews I conduct, using this collaborative platform to transcend thoughts and experiences to fuel enriching and inspiring story telling landscapes.
I also write for social media, creatively positioning editorials to leverage the advantages afforded by these dynamic platforms.
